Order came promptly and nailer worked great. I used it to nail 18 squares of shingles on my son's house. It did a good job of consistent petetration of the nails and only misfired 2 times. We had to manually hammer less than 10 nails that didn't seat good enough. For some reason, one time the piston/driver hung up, but all we had to do was remove the cap and push it down, and it worked flawlessly after that. I would definitely recommend this nailer.

This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new condition. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes.The Bostitch RN46-1 is a Factory Reconditioned 1/4" NPT Roofing Nailer. The RN46-1 roofing nailer weighs 4.8 lbs featuring magnesium housing for job site durability. Aggressive wear guards, non-skid pads and carbide inserts in the tip for long life. The Bostitch RN46-1 is the only roofing nailer to feature integrated last nail capture so it won't fire when it runs out of nails. With its patented single-action side load canister, the nailer has 410 in-lbs of power for the toughest applications. A quick set adjustable depth control makes for consistent nail drives. An over molded grip provides comfortable use and the shingle guide requires no tool for adjustment.

The title just about says it all. I received my reconditioned Bostitch RN46 and tried it out the same day. Sadly it did not fire at all. My guess is that there was something wrong with the firing mechanism. I had this exchanged through a third party and the new gun was amazing. With four guys and one gun we couldn't lay the shingles as fast and the gun could nail them down. I will never roof without a nail gun again. -If- the gun works this is a great deal at 5.

The Reconditioned nail gun worked very well when it was working. I had to take it in for repair on the second day of usage because it stopped working. I had to wait a week to get it repaired. I would recommend this nail gun to anyone who is looking for well build gun. My gun is working just fine now, the repairman said I had put to much oil in it and this caused it to hydro lock and would not let it complete its cycle.

This gun arrived in "like new" condition, not a scratch on it. Jammed only twice on a 2500sqft roof. I had 2 teams and 2 guns on the roof. one on the front and one on the back and we were fighting over this gun. Very smooth and accurate.
