I was looking for a low-cost finish nailer and wouldn't consider the Bostich based on the price. However, I went to the local "Big Box" home improvement store and compared nailers. The Bostich was only more retail than a Hitachi I was considering. The Bostich is lighter than a lot of other nailers. Then I found the reconditioned nailer on Amazon for about 1/2 the price of new and decided to try it. I am very pleased! After shooting nearly 900 2" nails, the Bostich has performed flawlessly. It looked brand new out of the box with just a little bit of paint missing from the raised lettering "BOSTICH." I would consider buying another reconditioned Bostich tool.

The nailer double fires on at least 50% of the nails. It seemed like the trigger fired both on the press and release motion. The amount of scratches on the body showed that this unit had been used quite a bit before being reconditioned. I guess this is part of the risk when you buy that kind of tools. The other reviewer was more lucky!
